Anthony Donovan is an artist, musician, composer, improviser and writer based in England. He works solo, either as Murmurists or under his own name, and is associated with projects such as Destroyevsky, Ou_pi Golgotha.undead, Spidey Agutter and the.clinamen. An ardent collaborator, he has worked with the likes of John Zorn, Jochen Arbeit, Geoff Leigh, PAS, Steve Beresford and Damo Suzuki. Donovan co-curates the respected labels Classwar Karaoke and suRRism-Phonoethics with Jaan Patterson. His interests are all either obscure or opaque, but morally authentic.

There's something about the uniform, with all the intimations of violence and control.
Again, thanks for sharing! For me, I like the twisted body stance in conjunction with the gaze. Pretty odd for some reason. I mashed the head onto the body - not seemlessly either. But the effect is almost 30s film star.
I love the twisted head too. It's that innocence/experience thing. When you cock your head on one side, you create an image of innocence and also knowingness and confidence too. That's what does it for me.
Twisted body stances, leg stances ... I always say true pornography is a matter of geometry.
30s movie star imagery is also, very often, more erotic than the hardest porn.
I'm thinking of Malerne Dietrich dressed up as a gorilla.
