I love the way you fragment bodies with other objects and ideas. The contrast of sepiaesque landscapes and almost Dickensian corsetry with the lush red of the ladybird. Jazzfunk against the past. And almost like a hat on her head...but not a hat...something mechanised. We are all mechanical in a certain way. Fixed and rigid. But beautiful and curved too. (See her back and the beautiful shoe).

I see glimpses of the kind of ambiguities and perversities I am attempting to frame. This one has something - and in the way you say. 'Jazzfunk against the past' is a nice couplet, Mollie.
