Both this and the first post show what it means to blur the identity. I think the 'conversation' piece also does this. We get fragments of information and we have to 'imagine' the rest. All of it is loaded...the blurred image, the promise to meet, to bring others...the prospect of months...Sometimes we need to hide (for example, in the images you portray)and sometimes we want to remove the mask and show everything. I think you play with these ideas in your writing and your images.
Sometimes blurring of images can be 'soft-focus' as in the top image and sometimes it can be almost violent (changing images through colour, pointillistic changes)and you can almost obliterate the person that existed originally. All fractured identities are here Anthony. And then to contrast....the beautiful 'wholeness' and 'completeness' of the 'All' posts. Purity of identity and life.
...and love...
Agree with you, Molly: it's hard to see where one thing starts and another ends. It's a fuzzy world - of quantum hear'say, misrememberings, prickly heat, dots in one's peripheries... Love is in there, too.
