I first heard of Atkinson when Art & Language did some work with The Red Crayola ... I guess that puts me in the 'whilst listening to rock'n'roll' category.
His artwork after A&L is best, I think. These titles and the image is taken from that lot. It's politcal satire in essence. I have The Red Crayola LP, 'Corrected Slogans'. very interesting; though I don't play it very often! Songs about Trotsky ... Marvellous idea.
Met Atkinson several times. Lovely bloke.
