One could go around saying to people "that's a bit Kitajist".

This reminds me of a lovely Judy pic again or even the twinkly 'young' pics of Marilyn. An allegory for passing time. How we look at ourselves in the past when we were beauties...and then we fade and blur and things go out of control. The sepia-esque way of life that haunts us all.

Beautiful.

I've just come back to this again because I find her lovely. I love the great iconic faces of women. Strange how female faces from a certain era are so beautiful. The structure and make-up of faces now is so different. No-one can capture that again. There are beautiful faces but...I just love these images.

'...The sepia-esque way of life that haunts us all...' - great phrase, Mollie.
